Welcome to Humanoids 2018

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 2018 IEEE-RAS Conference of Humanoid Robots from November 6 to November 9, 2018 at Beijing Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China. Humanoids 2018 is hosted by Beijing Institute of Technology, and supported by IEEE-RAS.

As it is the first time for Beijing, the capital of China, to embrace the Humanoids Conference, we warmly welcome you to visit this beautiful city with long history and profound culture. Its unique and harmonious mixture of ancient civilization and modern accomplishments remain a spectacular feast that we believe you would never wish to miss in addition to the high quality technical program.

Humanoids 2018 marks the 18th edition of the IEEE Humanoids annual conference series. Humanoids is a prime event of the humanoid robot with international recognition. Researchers and engineers from around the world share the most exciting and inspiring work in such areas as motion planning, human-robot interaction, perception, learning, novel mechanisms and controlling. We’ve received 215 paper submissions from 20 countries and a total of 163 papers have been selected to represent the latest advancements of the field. All the accepted papers will be presented in both oral or interactive sessions. The technical program consists of 7 oral sessions, 3 interactive sessions, 2 plenary speeches, 5 keynote speeches and 7 workshops in a variety of topics.
